Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Counselor to support the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our students. The counselor will work collaboratively with students, families, faculty, and administration to promote a positive school culture, provide individual and group counseling, and implement programs that foster student success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.

• Develop and implement programs to promote mental health, conflict resolution, and positive decision-making.

• Support students in developing coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and resilience.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student needs and create intervention plans.

• Support the Catholic identity and mission of the school in all aspects of the counseling program.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in School Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Valid state certification/licensure as a School Counselor.

• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
