Saint James Catholic School is seeking an Extended Day Director for the 2024-2025 school year.

An Extended Day program director manages programs outside of school hours for children. The program director generally works closely with day schools to provide an enriching and educationally sound experience. Directors develop the structure of the program based on the needs and interests of the students and their parents, manage the program staff and operations, and maintain relationships with the community. The program director works with the program staff to develop an appropriate curriculum and plan activities that are consistent with the mission of the program.
The director shall be of good character, able to carry out responsibilities, and capable of training and supervision of the staff. Effective communication both in written and orally are important. Program directors also perform performance evaluations and develop professional development plans for the staff to ensure the program maintains a high level of quality.

Qualifications:
The Director is in charge of overseeing the program and must meet one of the following: a graduate degree in a child-related field, bachelor's degree in a child-related field, or two years of experience with one year in a staff supervisory capacity.
