Qualified candidates must:

•have a desire to work in a Catholic school environment
•complete CPR and First Aid training

 

This position is ideal for a high school student, college student, or recent college graduate interested in working with children or exploring teaching as a potential career.

EDC Program hours are:
•7:00 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. in the mornings, Monday-Friday when school is in session
•3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in the afternoons on Tuesday-Friday and 2:30pm - 6:00pm on Mondays when school is in session

 

Available Positions:
We are looking to fill one morning position, and two afternoon positions. 

 

Please note in your email whether you would be available for morning shifts, afternoon shifts, or both morning and afternoon shifts.

 

Your Role:
You will be an important part of the Extended Day Care (EDC) team, and will assist with supervising children in grades K-8 (ages 5-13). You will assist the program director and assistant director with EDC activities and supervision, including:
•helping to set up tables and activities for students before their arrival, and cleaning and putting away all materials at the end of the shift
•helping with snack
•supervising children during free-play and homework time
•following all program requirements for signing children in and out

 

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
•Experience working with and supervising elementary-aged children (ages 5-13)
•Ability to collaborate with the program director
•Experience working in a youth program setting (Vacation Bible School, summer camp, assisting with a summer swim program, etc.)

 

Compensation:

This is a limited part-time position that pays an hourly rate of $15-$17 per hour, depending on experience.  Limited part-time employees are also offered the following benefits: Meaningful, service oriented, and respectful work environment, work-life balance, and 403(b) plan.
