Position Overview

Saint Leo the Great Catholic School is seeking enthusiastic, faith-filled individuals to join our Extended Day Team for the 2026–2027 school year.

This role is about more than supervision—it is about building relationships, modeling Christian care, and supporting students beyond the classroom in a meaningful way.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of all students
• Foster a positive, respectful, and caring environment rooted in Christian values
• Engage students in a balanced schedule of active play, quiet time, and structured activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
• Follow diocesan policies and all health, safety, and emergency procedures
• Support program structure, routines, and expectations
• Model respect, kindness, and responsibility in all interactions

Qualifications

Required:

• Alignment with the mission of Catholic education
• Experience working with children (preferred but not required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, responsible, and team-oriented

Preferred:

• Experience in childcare, education, or youth programs
• Practicing Catholic (or strong support of Catholic mission)
