St. Charles Preschool is a vibrant Catholic preschool for children ages 2-5 in Arlington, VA.  Each 2-4 year old class meets once a week and Jr Kindergarten meets twice a week for music class. The ideal candidate will be able to model a healthy singing voice and have the ability to accompany the class on the guitar and/or piano. Experience in teaching preschool and/or early elementary is preferred. The classroom has multiple percussion instruments, including egg shakers, rhythm sticks, Remo kid drums, and more.  The music teacher is responsible for preparing music for preschool concerts and events throughout the school year, including the Christmas concert, Mother's Tea and Donuts for Dads singing performances, and The Finales (End of Year celebration concerts). Must be available to teach morning hours, 2 days a week. School can be flexible regarding which 2 mornings work be for the music teacher's schedule.
