Instructional Support and Substitute Coordinator The Basilica School of Saint Mary

Hours: 7:30 AM to 3:45 PM during a regular school day.
The Basilica School of Saint Mary is seeking a full-time Instructional Support and Substitute Coordinator to join our dedicated instructional team. This is an ideal opportunity for a mission-driven individual with strong administrative and interpersonal skills who wishes to contribute meaningfully to Catholic education.
The successful candidate will:
- Serve as an internal substitute teacher during faculty absences, providing instruction and maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment across various grade levels.
- Coordinate daily and long-term substitute coverage by managing communications, maintaining schedules, and supporting substitutes throughout the day.
- Collaborate closely with school administration to ensure smooth daily operations and continuity of instruction.
- Maintain accurate records of substitute assignments and assist with additional instructional or administrative support tasks as needed.

- Possess or be eligible for teaching certification in Virginia.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Teaching experience preferred
- Administrative experience or demonstrated organizational leadership preferred
- Practicing Catholic strongly preferred

Compensation Range: $44,000 – $60,000 plus benefits, commensurate with qualifications and experience
