Holy Cross Academy, a preschool – 8th grade coed Catholic school of 480 students in beautiful, historic Fredericksburg, VA, is seeking an a first grade teacher for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. This first grade class has 22 saints, scholar, and leaders in the making enrolled and our 1st grade teacher works alongside an experienced instructional aide. As a two track school, an experienced grade partner is available to assist with lesson planning and curricular pacing.
The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic, have teaching experience at the early elementary level, an undergraduate degree in education, and experience using differentiated instruction. HCA is the parish school of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in the Diocese of Arlington.
