Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic School is seeking a part-time Music teacher. 

Candidates must possess or be eligible for certification/licensure in Virginia or through the VCEA. 

Our school family seeks to hire an individual who will develop students' understanding and appreciation of the art of music.  This professional would develop each student's talents in vocal musical expression; follow and implement music education curriculum outlined by the Arlington Diocese Office of Catholic Schools; maintain safe classroom environment, and implement effective classroom management practices. The successful candidate must have an understanding of liturgical music and it's presentation; direct choir participation at weekly Mass; as well as to plan, coordinate rehearsals for, and direct students in musical programs and performances outside the classroom (Christmas Pageant and Night of the Arts (May).

Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree.  Teaching experience preferred.
