St. Louis Catholic School is seeking a full-time individual for overseeing all operations of the kitchen which provides daily hot lunch to the student body, faculty, and staff.
Primary responsibilities include creating weekly menus, food ordering and inventory management, ensuring daily preparation of all menu items to be served to students for an enjoyable lunch experience, and controlling overall kitchen costs. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with administration team is essential. The position is responsible for maintaining all standards as governed by the Virginia Department of Health.
The ideal candidate should have background as prep cook, server, culinary experience a plus. Must have a strong commitment to a Catholic education, high standards of food safety and collaboration in the school's kitchen. Salary commensurate with experience.
